No. Enquiries go straight to the cleaner — we don't take a cut of the job and cleaners pay no per-lead fee. Cleaners only pay for their listing tier if they choose a paid one.

It varies. Some bring everything, others prefer to use your products so the finish matches what you normally use. Each profile says which, and you can confirm when you enquire.

Each profile shows the cleaner's own declared insurance and DBS status. Cleaners on the Verified tier have had that evidence reviewed by our admin team before the badge is shown; other listings display what the cleaner has declared themselves.

It means we have manually reviewed the cleaner's documents — public liability insurance, and DBS evidence where applicable — and that their subscription is active. If either lapses, the badge is removed automatically.

Reviews are collected from customers after a clean and are moderated before they appear on a profile. We also link to each cleaner's Google reviews where they have them.

Speak to your cleaner first — most issues are resolved with a return visit. If that doesn't work, email hello@southendcleaners.co.uk and we'll look into it; repeated complaints can result in a listing being suspended.
