The trust mark customers look for.
Southend Verified™ is reserved for cleaners on our top Verified tier — those who've passed every check and committed to staying accountable. It's a mark of distinction, not a participation badge. Verified status is available after manual review of required documents, including insurance and DBS evidence where applicable.

Common questions
Verified badge questions
How does a cleaner earn the Southend Verified™ badge?
A cleaner must be on the Verified subscription tier (£24.99/month or £250/year) AND have four current documents on file — enhanced DBS, public liability insurance, photo ID and proof of address — reviewed and approved by our admin team.
Can a cleaner get the badge just by uploading documents?
No. Documents alone never grant the badge. The Verified subscription and verified documents are both required. If either lapses, the badge is automatically revoked.
How often are Verified cleaners re-checked?
Every quarter. We re-review documents, check expiry dates and confirm the subscription is active. Anything out of date pauses the badge until it's resolved.
What happens if a cleaner cancels their subscription?
They keep full access until the end of the paid period, then drop to the Listed tier. The Verified badge is removed automatically by our billing webhook at that point.
